Meet Eoghan McCabe
Eoghan McCabe was born and raised in Ireland. He built his first website in 1996 and launched his first company in 2000. McCabe built multiple companies in the software development industry, leading them to successful exits. He co-founded Intercom, a SaaS company, in 2011 and by 2018, the company was valued at $1.275 billion. McCabe served as Intercom’s first CEO, and is now the company’s Chairman. Intercom has helped thousands of clients achieve better communication internally and with customers.

As a serial entrepreneur, Eoghan founded several companies.

2006: Eoghan McCabe Ltd - Software development company responsible for FoldSpy. This was McCabe’s first major venture and successful exit.

2007-2011: Contrast - McCabe served as CEO of this software development agency. Contrast was originally Eoghan McCabe Limited.

2008-2011: Exceptional - McCabe served as CEO of Exceptional, a software as a service (SaaS) company offering developer tools for app bug tracking. This was later acquired by Rackspace.

2011-Current: Intercom - Eoghan McCabe’s largest venture yet. Intercom is a software development company that makes a messaging platform for internal and customer facing communication. Previously CEO, McCabe now serves as Chairman of Intercom.
